How far in advance should I order?
Please reach out at least 2 weeks before your event. Popular weekends and wedding season book up months ahead, so earlier is always better. Last-minute requests are occasionally possible for simpler designs if I have an opening.
How much does a custom cake cost?
Custom cakes start at $120. The final price depends on the number of servings, tiers, flavor and filling choices, and how detailed the decoration is. You'll get a clear quote before anything is confirmed. See the menu and sizes for a starting point.
How many people will my cake serve?
I make cakes for anywhere from 8 to 150+ guests. Tell me your headcount and I'll recommend a size. When in doubt, go one size up; leftover cake has never made anyone sad.
What flavors do you offer?
Current favorites: Vanilla bean, Chocolate fudge, Lemon blueberry, Strawberry shortcake, Red velvet, Funfetti, Ube, Carrot cake. Have something else in mind? Ask. I love a new flavor project.
What else do you make besides cakes?
Cake pops, Dessert cups, Loaves & bars. Treats start at $36 per dozen with a 1-dozen minimum and need about 7 days notice. They can be wrapped individually for favors or arranged for a dessert table. See the treats page.
Do you take deposits?
Yes. A 50% non-refundable deposit saves your date, and the remaining balance is due the week of pickup. Your date isn't held until the deposit is received.
Can you accommodate allergies or dietary needs?
I can often make gluten-free, dairy-free or nut-free versions. Please note my kitchen also handles wheat, dairy, eggs and nuts, so I can't guarantee a fully allergen-free environment for severe allergies.
Do you deliver?
Pickup is in New Bedford. Delivery is available around the South Coast (Fairhaven, Dartmouth, Acushnet, Mattapoisett, Marion, Westport, Fall River and nearby) for a small fee based on distance, and I'll set up tiered cakes on site.
How quickly will you reply?
I answer every inquiry personally, usually within 48 hours. If you haven't heard back, check your spam folder or send a note on Instagram.
